Fern Fever

This collection was born out of my lifelong curiosity for the history of everyday life. As I was reading a book on paleobotany I started to think about
ferns, and my curiosity grew.

To my surprise I discovered that Victorian culture also found themselves fascinated with the study, and collection of ferns
to which history refers to as “pteridomania” or “fern fever”.

With this personal connection to the past as my inspiration I began to learn, create, and the rest is history.
