On the evening of June 16, 1992 Brooke Becker was riding home from her part time summer job. Life was good for Brooke. She was 20 years old, popular with the girls and boys, attending college and working part time at the Sunset Grill, a trendy little restaurant on Clearwater Beach, You might say Brooke was the epitomy of "the girl next door."
All this was to change in a split second.
