 Brooke today...Today, thanks to the countless prayers and support from thousands of compassionate people, Brooke is alive and well and living with her proud parents in Clearwater, Florida. Brooke's childhood schoolmate Amber Mallory, deserves special mention for redefining the term friendship. Other dear friends who have given more of themselves than can be imagined are Bob Lunt, Abbas Yousefiani, and Kathy Schott, Brooke's talented art teacher at Abilities, Inc. Brooke regularly attends her church, Calvary Baptist, and her undying faith continues to serve her well. While she remains unable to speak, she understands well and communicates through notes as well as a computerized voice synthesizer. And in spite of her sight deficit, Brooke has found an invaluable way to express herself through artwork. Brooke's paintings, greeting cards, and bird houses are selling.
